A Safe Place

Our priority is to provide residents and their families and friends with a safe, secure and comfortable environment. An ongoing survey conducted internally shows that 100% of our residents feel safe and secure in our homes.

At Borough Care we ensure that the fabric and systems of our homes are always up to standard. Clean rooms, corridors, bathrooms and kitchens are essential areas of hygiene attention. Professional and regular cleaning regimes operate throughout the Borough Care group and it is these elements, along with focused training schemes for staff members that ensure Health and Safety is always a priority.

We have an appointed Health and Safety Manager responsible for infection control and maintaining a safe, clean environment. All staff are trained in First Aid, Moving and Handling, Fire Procedures, Food Safety and Infection Control as part of their induction training.

A senior manager from Head Office visits each home on a monthly basis giving residents the opportunity to speak in confidence. We encourage a 'whistle blowing' policy, investigating all complaints thoroughly.

Our facilities include bathroom rails, passenger lifts, full wheelchair accessibility and full mobility services.
