Fees

Fees in Borough care homes are determined by both the level of care and the type of room occupied.

There are three categories of care:

  • Standard
  • High Dependency
  • Elderly Mentally Infirm

The category and level of care will be determined on admission.

Certain homes accept only EMI clients. These are Belmont, Cawood and Wellcroft.

Silverdale and Bryn Haven accept clients from all categories.

Bamford, Lisburne, Marbury, Meadway, Reinbek, and Shepley accept Standard and High Dependency clients.

For people admitted following assessment by Stockport Social Services the level of care will be specified in the Social Services Individual Service Agreement and on the Borough Care Initial Care Plan. For those not assessed by Social Services the level will as agreed in the Borough Care Initial Care Plan.

The level of care will only be changed thereafter by reassessment of care needs. For those initially assessed by Social Services, the reassessment will be carried out by Social Services.

For those not assessed by Social Services, the Home Manager will prepare a written detailed statement of how needs have changed and discuss with the residents and any representatives involved.
