All homes have a senior team of 5 people, the Registered Manager, a Deputy Manager, and 3 Care Supervisors. The supervisors are mainly responsible for working alongside the care staff, ensuring that care plans are adhered to, coaching supporting and supervising staff. They also administer prescribed medication, write and review care plans, and generally ensure that residents receive the care they require on a day to day basis. Managers and Deputy Managers have a wider role, looking after the environment, food, training, admissions, as well as monitoring everything that happens in the home, and planning for the future. However, all members of the team are there to make sure that residents are well cared for, and there is a senior member of staff in the home at all times.*
*In Bruce Lodge, Silverdale and Reinbek the senior person is a night carer as there are 3 waking night staff on duty. In all other homes there are 2 waking night staff and a senior person sleeping in the building "on call"
