Overview:

Marbury House is a two storey residential care home, situated on the Marbury Estate in Heaton Chapel.

The home was substantially extended and underwent a full refurbishment to a high standard in 2001, and now provides 40 single rooms, 10 of which have en-suite facilities.

Residents are free to furnish their own room with their own possessions, and are welcome to install their own television and telephone.

Bedrooms are located on both floors and there are a number of lounges and dining area's so that residents can choose where they spend their time. There is also a passenger lift located on the first floor, making it accessible to upper lounge areas, and bedrooms.

12 of our beds are used for intermediate care, for people recovering following a hospital stay. We also provide day care, please contact the home for further information.

The home offers varied activities, which are displayed on the notice board, and regular residents meetings are held. We encourage resident input to help advise our home plan. A safe and accessible garden is located at the back of the home, and green fingered residents are welcome to get involved.
