What are the arrangements for handling money?
We do not handle cash in the homes. If a resident needs to purchase something, a member of the team will arrange this and provide an invoice, or alternatively a relative can purchase the item on their behalf.
What about my possessions?
It can be easy to mislay belongings and there may be instances where items may become broken or damaged and forgotten about, which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings. Therefore we must have a firm rule that we cannot accept liability or responsibility for damaged or misplaced possessions. We advise that residents do not bring high value items into the home, but in instances where this is unavoidable we recommend that separate insurance cover is arranged.
Our team can help you choose the right home for your loved one.
