Our annual Christmas Tea Dance was a roaring success. Incredibly well attended by residents across our 11 homes, as well as their friends and family, and our staff, it was a fabulous way to kick off the first of many parties we have planned during the festive season.
Guests enjoyed turkey sandwiches with stuffing and salad, as well as two types of cheesecake. And with performances from a Gospel Choir and the pupils from Stockport Grammar School sang with the Intergenerational Choir, Shaun Sloane and Richard Hazelwood, the dancefloor was rocking!
Lorna Weeden, Marbury House’s Activity and Lifestyle Co-ordinator said: “This year’s Christmas Tea Dance was one of the best yet! It’s such a lovely opportunity for residents and their families from all of our homes to come together and wish each other a very Merry Christmas at this special time of year. It really is one of the many social highlights of our year.”
