One in a Million

Our ‘One in a Million’ staff awards came with a difference in 2020. Ordinarily, we would all come together to celebrate but given Covid-19 restrictions, staff and residents kept to their homes to have their own knees up, so we could honour the very best examples of our teams’ hard work and dedication to care.

All of our homes tuned in to a virtual ceremony with incredible comments from team members and our residents’ loved ones. Given how challenging 2020 has been for everyone, it was fantastic to see how much the work of all of our team members is appreciated.

Our judging panel had an incredibly tough job singling out the winners in each category, as the standard of shortlisted nominees was so high this year. We know how important it is to thank and reward our staff for the incredible job they do caring for our residents, and we’re thrilled to share the teams and employees who pipped the rest to the post and were crowned as this year’s winners.
