Residents from our Stockport homes, along with their relatives and our incredible teams, enjoyed a truly magical Christmas Tea Dance at Alma Lodge today — and what a wonderful afternoon it was!
From the moment guests began to arrive, the room was filled with warmth, laughter and plenty of festive sparkle. The event was absolutely brimming with Christmas cheer and created a lovely opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate the season.
We began the afternoon with a delicious festive lunch, beautifully prepared and enjoyed in great company. Tables were filled with chatter as residents, families and team members shared stories and soaked up the joyful atmosphere. After lunch came an array of sweet treats — and lots of chocolate, of course — which went down a treat with everyone!
Our fantastic entertainer kept the celebrations in full swing, performing a mix of classic Christmas hits and well-loved songs that had everyone clapping, singing along and even taking to the dance floor. It was heartwarming to see residents, relatives and colleagues dancing side by side, creating special memories together.
The highlight of the afternoon for many was a special visit from Santa himself, who arrived with his friends the penguin and the polar bear. There were smiles all around as gifts were handed out and photos were taken, adding an extra sprinkle of magic to the day.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon such a success — including our Head Office team who donned their best Christmas accessories and joined in the fun. Thanks to the hard work and enthusiasm of our teams, it was an afternoon filled with joy, connection and festive spirit. We are all well and truly in the Christmas mood now!
