Today, on Remembrance Day, we pause to honour and remember the incredible sacrifices made by so many. This day holds immense significance for us at Borough Care, and it resonates deeply with so many of our residents, who carry personal memories and experiences of service.
We have so much planned across our homes to honour the day. We were particularly moved by the Remembrance Sunday commemorations in Leek, where Hen Cloud House resident Roz, a proud veteran, joined members of our team and other residents to lay a wreath donated by Borough Care at the town monument.
We’re also incredibly proud that in the past year many of our Borough Care homes have been awarded the Veteran Friendly Framework accreditation, and our other homes are actively working towards this important recognition. It’s a testament to our commitment to supporting those who have served our country.
