Activities Roles

Bringing energy, joy and fun

Our Activity Lifestyle Facilitators (ALFs) bring energy, joy and fun to every day in our homes.

They plan and lead a wide variety of activities, from music, arts and crafts, and gentle exercise to games, celebrations, one-to-one chats, and scheduled trips out. Every activity is designed around our residents’ interests and life stories, helping them feel valued, engaged and happy, while creating moments of laughter, connection and purpose that brighten each day.

Celebrating each resident

Our ALFs celebrate each resident as an individual and tailor activities so everyone can join in, feel confident and enjoy themselves.

They work closely with our care teams and the local area to keep residents connected to the community they know, encouraging friendships, wellbeing and meaningful experiences inside and outside the home.

‘I love being an ALF because every day is different and full of smiles. Whether we’re doing an activity, sharing stories, or just having a cup of tea together, there is nothing better than seeing the residents happy and having fun. Knowing that I can brighten someone’s day makes me feel proud, and working with such a caring team makes it even more special’

– Rosie, Activity & Lifestyle Facilitator

Making a difference

ALF roles are truly rewarding for creative, social and enthusiastic people who love making a difference.

Seeing our residents laugh, thrive and feel part of their wider community is the heart of the job, and our ALFs take pride in building vibrant, welcoming homes full of fun, colour and memorable moments.
