Meet the Manager

Lisa Murphy

Lisa Murphy has been with Borough Care for 28 years. She started her career as a Care Assistant and has since worked her way up through various homes before becoming Cawood House’s Home Manager four years ago. Lisa and her team are known for creating a warm, friendly and family feel at Cawood House, and recently won Borough Care’s ‘Family Connections Award’ for their amazing work in building a real community within the home. Lisa says visitors to the home can expect “warmth, love and laughter.”

Clean, well-organised, homely. I feel reassured that my dad is not lonely, as I know staff members visit his room regularly and involve him in the activities taking place. Quick action was taken when my dad has required a nurse or doctor to visit and communication between the home, my dad and the family has been consistently good. Staff are friendly, cheerful and always professional.
