Shepley House is a purpose-built care home located in a residential area of Hazel Grove.
The home offers accommodation for 43 older people. The highly trained and experienced team provide dignified, personalised care ideally suited to those requiring support with dementia. Also suitable for short stay residents, Shepley House provides a caring and comforting bridge between hospital and home, with staff trained in how to help residents get back on their feet.
There is a good-sized garden which includes a large patio area where residents regularly sit in the better weather and can take their visitors to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. When the rain appears, residents can retreat inside to the bright, fun and airy interior and the beautiful indoor garden or spend time reminiscing in our dedicated memorabilia area, featuring many classic posters and vintage cars. Alternatively, they can enjoy a slice of cake and pot of tea in one of our comfortable lounges, which many residents often volunteer to help serve!
All of our homes benefit from a dedicated Activity and Lifestyle Facilitator, affectionately known as ALF’s. They are responsible for delivering a varied and engaging daily programme of events and activities for all our residents. Find out more here.
“At Shepley House we are a family. Staff and residents work together to live an enriched life each day, you will find us relaxing in the garden or dancing round the lounge!” Nerys, Manager
