Wellcroft is located in Gatley and stands in its own landscaped gardens, a stone’s throw from the village with all its shops, cafes and welcoming pubs.
With 42 rooms, the home offers stimulating themed areas and signposting, reminiscent of its own little community. Highlights include the French-style bistro, Wellcroft Arms pub, library area and retro shop, providing residents with new ways to engage and be stimulated. Residents can choose to buy a chocolate bar, enjoy a coffee with visitors or have their nails done in the salon. Even the laundry room is themed as a laundrette and residents are encouraged to get involved in some of the ‘household chores’ if they so wish.
With close ties to the community, Wellcroft offers intergenerational play dates with local mum’s and their children, creating lots of laughter and noise from residents and children alike.
“There is a huge sense of community at Wellcroft and we have a lot of local input from the lovely people of Gatley village. Wellcroft is a great place with great staff and it is just a joy to work there!” Lisa Martin, Previous Manager
