We are pleased to introduce our new Borough Care Board Member, Lee Omar.
For over a decade, Lee worked for a not-for-profit company, helping refugees to build new lives. He now runs his own technology business, making apps for healthcare and transport sectors.
Lee has designed applications that help older people shop online and improve their nutritional intake; and he recently worked on an app that reduces the number of falls in care homes, which has been adopted by the NHS.
He brings with him an innovative approach and a desire to change things for the better. Lee says, “We are all living longer lives, and I want to be part of the change that sees us offering aspirational products and services to this important part of our society. We should look forward to getting older and life should be just as rewarding. I am excited about what can be achieved here at Borough Care, and the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Lee was born in Bournemouth and lived in Cheshire as a child before moving to Liverpool. In his spare time, he loves to eat and travel; preferably both at the same time.
Welcome Lee, we know that with your help we can make Borough Care the best place in the UK to live and work.
