Learning and Earning

Our apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity for new or existing employees of Borough Care (over 16 years of age) to start or advance their career in care.

As an apprentice you’ll gain work experience, do a nationally recognised qualification and earn a wage. Whatever your background and whatever you aspire to be, you’ll find we have opportunities for you.

There are lots of apprenticeship roles in adult social care – it just depends what you’re interested in and what role best suits your skills.

You don’t need previous experience or qualifications to apply, just a caring nature and a genuine desire to improve the lives of older people.

An apprenticeship usually takes 12-18 months to complete, during which time you’ll be supported in dealing with real life situations in one of our care homes, as well as time off to study and attend college (if required). Most importantly you’ll be championed by a strong network of people who all want to see you succeed.

If you want to continue learning whilst earning a wage and take your first step into a rewarding career, register your interest with us today by emailing nicola.chatterton@boroughcare.org.uk or call 0161 475 0156
