It’s been a big week for us at Borough Care. As well as the opening of a brand new home in Leek, we’ve got some updates from our residents that are sure to brighten your day.
Let’s take a look at this week’s events.
Hen Cloud House opens its doors
We were delighted to hold a launch event for our newest care home, Hen Cloud House. Based in Leek, Staffordshire, Hen Cloud House offers specialist, dementia-friendly care in a luxury setting. We’re sure the future residents of Hen Cloud House will enjoy the cinema room, shop and beauty salon!
Six decades of love
Love was in the air at Lisburne Court this week. Larry and Jean celebrated their 60th anniversary with a meal and exchanged flowers and cards. Congratulations to this lovely couple.
Partying for Pride
Reinbeck and Silverdale held fabulous Pride parties in support of our partner, Stonewall. Residents got into the spirit of Pride through karaoke, rainbow pizza making and dressing up.
Fish and chips, anyone?
Silverdale residents had a tasty fish and chips supper from Taylors. They went down a treat!
Getting colourful
Lisburne Court’s resident showed their artistic side with some colouring in.
Making memories
Cawood House held a crafting session where Nora, Freda and Norma made memory boxes.
Macmillan coffee morning
Silverdale showed their support for Macmillan by holding a coffee morning. Our mouths are watering looking at those cakes!
