Love was in the air this Valentine’s Day as we celebrated the most romantic holiday of the year with music, food and… a good, old boogie. Well, we aren’t ones to sit still!
Our regular, all home and community tea dance had a Valentine’s makeover, featuring red roses on tables, heart-decorated napkins and romantic bottles of Buck’s Fizz. Our entertainer serenaded the room with a medley of romantic hits that had everyone on their feet, singing and dancing. And, as a final treat, each guest was given a little goodie bag to take home featuring that sweetest of gifts… Love Heart sweets.
And the celebrations didn’t stop there! Our catering team surpassed themselves with a special menu, and invited residents’ friends and families to join us for a delicious and very special three course meal.
We also had plenty of arts and crafts sessions, with residents helping to create decorations and arrange flowers, to tie in with our romantic theme.
Our romantic celebrations were topped off with live music, as local singers took to our homes to entertain residents and their guests with classic love songs.
