Focus Group: Autistic People and Care Homes

Borough Care want to hear your thoughts about older Autistic people and care homes.

Borough Care is a not-for-profit care home provider, committed to ensuring that all older people in our care live ‘Life in Colour’. This means that we have a real commitment to hearing from people about their expectations, fears and wishes for care and working hard to ensure that we can deliver a service which consistently meets these needs for every resident. From time to time we hold listening events, designed to make sure we hear from groups of people whose specific needs we want to understand better.

If you have an interest in older Autistic people, either because of your own lived experience, or as a carer, advocate or family member, we’d love to hear from you. We are keen to hear from people regardless of formal diagnosis. If you would like to take part but would like us to make any adjustments to make this easier, please feel free to contact us to discuss this.

The session will be held remotely over Microsoft Teams on the 3rd of April from 19.00 till 21.00. We are looking for up to 10 participants.

We’ll provide a £10 Amazon voucher to each person that takes part in the call.

If you are interested in participating please email Joanne.Beesley@boroughcare.org.uk

*Please note that we wish to hear from people outside of our organisation at the focus group.
