With so many amazing dads living with us and working for us, we couldn’t let Father’s Day, on 16th June, pass us by without celebrating.
As usual, our homes have come up with a packed schedule of events to show our dads (and Grandads!) just how much they mean to us.
- At Silverdale, residents will spend 14th June making Father’s Day crafts, this includes cards and decorations for the big day. While on Sunday 16th, they will be hosting a very special Father’s Day lunch. Families and loved ones are invited to pop along after for some ‘manly’ Father’s Day drinks.
- At Marbury House, our dads will be enjoying an afternoon pie and pint followed by a game of cards and a classic pub quiz. Later on, there will be a special screening of The Great Escape! Friends, family and loved ones are welcome to attend.
- At Meadway Court, all of our male residents are being treated to a gift from the home, just to show we care! And the home will be decked out with plenty of cheerful decorations.
- At Cawood House, our lucky dads and their loved ones will be serenaded by resident Stockport singer Lucy. Swing by to see your dad or grandad and join in the sing-along.
Remember, our doors are always open to visitors and well-wishers, so please join us on the day to wish our residents a very happy Father’s Day.
