Triple Success For Borough Care Homes

Three of Borough Care’s homes for older people have recently been inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and all received a ‘good in all areas’ rating.

CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England and, as part of its role, inspects and rates residential care homes and nursing homes.

The three Borough Care homes receiving the ‘good in all areas’ rating are Silverdale in Bredbury, Shepley House in Hazel Grove and Lisburne Court in Offerton.

Borough Care’s homes also receive positive feedback on the leading care home review website –  Shepley House has a review score of 9.7 out of 10 and an average rating of 4.7 out of 5.  Comments from family members of Shepley House residents posted on the site include: “The staff are so kind and care passionately about the residents.” “The facilities are bright and cheerful, with plenty of activities.” “The care the home provided for my mother has been without a flaw.” “The carers certainly deserve their name, as nothing is too much trouble for both residents and visitors.”
